No, and it never will. What you are allowed to do varies by state, by city, and by the circumstances of the night, so the book does not guess. For that, ask a local attorney or your county sheriff. Every plan in the book ends the same way: get to a room, call for help, in that order.
There is nothing in this book about how to get into a house. Not one lock, not one window, not one technique, including the "so you know how they do it" version of that, which is the same thing wearing a different hat. Every item is written from the side of the person protecting the house.
A good part of it works anyway, because a good part of it is habit and what is visible from outside your door, neither of which needs a landlord's permission. Some of it does need to be screwed into something you own, and the book says which items those are instead of pretending otherwise.
